Menu Plan Monday - 5 Apr -11 Apr 2010

It's Monday again and last week was crazy again . . . it never stops. However, the new recipes were great!!! The Lime chicken was so easy and tasty. The shrimp was superb and the Lemon Lime Baby Cakes were so good on Thursday that we made them again for Easter. The salmon would have been better on the BBQ but the wind was blowing so hard it would have blown the flame out and seasoned it with a pound of blowing dirt, seriously. Never BBQ in the wind around here.

Monday: Bev's Orange Baked Chicken
Tuesday: Beef Stroganoff
Wednesday: Chicken Enchiladas
Thursday: Columbian Fried Rice
Friday: Pizza
Saturday: Thai Coconut Shrimp
Sunday: Roast

Menu Plan Monday - Jun 1-6 2009

Once again it is time for the Organizer Junkie's Menu Plan Monday. It has been a long time since I planned a week of menus. One reason was a shortage of time and another is confusion on how to change a diet. Does anyone have any tips on Low Cholesterol diet planning? It seems like the things they say to avoid are already absent in my diet but yet I still have to lower my cholesterol. What a challenge!!!

We tried Cedar Plank Salmon on the barbeque today by seasoning the salmon with salt, pepper and a little dill. Toping with Lemon slices and then baking on the Barbeque with the lid down. It tasted great!!!

Any way, here goes for this week.

Menu Plan Monday - Feb 15-22

Wow, I need to take a break from Wedding planning and figure out what to eat! We are only one month away from the wedding so the pressure is on!!!

Menu Plan Monday is an idea from I'm an Oganizing Junkie

Tuesday: Sloppy Joes made in the crock pot
Wednesday: temporarily out of town
Thursday: Chicken Parmegiano
Friday: Pizza Friday

Hope that works for this week. Last week one of the new recipes was a bomb so I won't try any new ones this week.

Menu Plan Monday - Feb 2-8

I found this site last week that hosts Menu Plan Mondays. Check it out at
http://orgjunkie.com/

Last week was my first try and it sort of worked. There is always an unpredictable element to our life so 5 our of 7 times the planning worked. Now this week will be really crazy so no menu planning this week. I'll try again next week. I am just learning how to do the linking this week.

Yea, it worked!!! I learned something new today even if I didn't get a menu planned. Thanks for the help Laura.

Menu Plan Monday - Jan 26-Feb 1

I just stumbles across this website http://orgjunkie.com/2009/01/menu-plan-monday-jan-26th-giveaway.html It is all about menu planning so I thought this might help us be more healthy so here goes for the first time.

Monday - traveling so Garlic Herb Chicken at Applebees sounds good
Tuesday - arriving home - Taco Salad
Wednesday - Crock pot stew
Thursday - Mini Meat balls
Friday - Pizza Friday
Saturday - Surprise - could be left overs or eating out depending on the schedule - have to be flexible on this day
Sunday - Pad Thai

We are very spontaneous so menu planing has always been unsuccessful!
